The villa complex was opened in 2006 and features 14 new two-bedroom villas. In terms of architecture the villas are built in the housing style typical to the Canaries. Parking facilities are available to guests arriving by car.

Location
This collection of villas is in the Tamaragua complex in La Capellanía, a recently completed urban project which offers community amenities, as well as the infrastructure required for a successful and pleasant stay. The complex offers a supermarket and 2 Spanish-language cinemas. It is located between Corralejo, the main tourist centre in the north of Fuerteventura, and the picturesque fishing town of Cotillo. Public transport links can be found in the immediate vicinity. It is just a few minutes by car from the famous beachs in Corralejo, and is a paradise for bathers and water sports enthusiasts alike. Just a few kilometers from Tamaragua, visitors will find the caves the \"\"Cueva del Llano\"\", which date back millions of years to the birth of this \"\"Island of Iron\"\".

Room description
The villas have 2 rooms and can sleep up to 4 adults and one child, one space being a sofa bed . A full bathroom with bathtub, bidet and washbasin, an office space, safety deposit box and a separate kitchen equipped with ceramic hob (4 rings), tea and coffee making facilities, toaster, oven, microwave, washing machine and fridge are all standard features. The ample sitting room features a dining area, TV, minibar, ironing board and direct access from the patio to the fresh water swimming pool, a terrace with hammocks and parasols and a garden area, as well as a barbecue area equipped with garden furniture. The villas are cleaned and towels changed every 4 days, bed linen is changed every 8 days.

Sports and entertainment
Guests may take advantage of the swimming pool, which is supplied with sun loungers and parasols. The nearby beaches are sandy and also have sun loungers and parasols. Surfers will find themselves at home on Flag beach (about a 5-minute drive away) and Manjanicho (about 10 minutes away), while families are sure to enjoy the tranquil waters of \"Los Lagos\" in Cotillo (10 minutes). Other water sports on offer include water skiing, diving, wind surfing, sailing and catamaran sailing. Cycling, beach volleyball, minigolf and golf are also options.
