Renovated in 2003, this family-friendly air-conditioned beach hotel comprises a total of 140 rooms spread over 10 floors. Facilities include a foyer with a 24-hour reception desk, safes, a lift, and a currency exchange counter in addition to a small supermarket, a selection of shops, an air-conditioned restaurant, a conference room and Internet access (charges apply). Room and laundry services are available and there is a garage for those arriving by car (added fee).
Location
This hotel lies directly beside the sandy beach at the heart of Miami Beach and affords spectacular views out over the Atlantic and the Intracoastal Waterway. Shopping and entertainment venues are to be found in abundance in the near vicinity. Miami International Airport is approximate 20 km from the airport (20 minutes drive).
How to get there
From Miami airport: take NW 21st St to ramp for SR-112 (Airport Expy). Continue east on SR-112 and then on I-195. Turn left on SR-907 (Alton Rd) and continue east until road ends at Collins Ave. Turn left onto Collins Ave; the hotel is located half a block up on the right.
Room description
The rooms afford lovely views out over the local area and include an en suite bathroom with a hairdryer, a hire safe, a direct dial telephone, satellite/ cable TV, a radio, an Internet connection, a double or king-sized bed and air conditioning. A kitchenette with a fridge, oven, microwave, coffee machine and washing machine also comes as standard in all rooms.

There is a heated swimming pool in the outdoor area as well as an in-house gym to make use of.
