Built in 1929, this club resort comprises a main building and an annexe block offering a total of 331 rooms. Facilities include a foyer, a reception desk, air conditioning, a safe, a currency exchange facility and a cloakroom in addition to a selection of restaurants and conference facilities. Moreover, there is a large lobby bar and a coffee shop to relax in and room and laundry services to take advantage of. There is a kids' club for younger guests and car parking is available to those arriving by car.
Location
This luxurious hotel lies amidst picturesque surrounds on 185 hectares in the Sonoran Desert. Phoenix airport is 25 minutes away whilst the centre of Phoenix itself is 30 km from the hotel.
Room description
The spacious, adobe-style casitas are carpeted and each come with a direct dial telephone, satellite/ cable TV, a radio, Internet access, a hire safe, individually controllable air conditioning, heating, a minibar, a coffee machine, ironing equipment and a king-sized or double bed. In addition, the casitas are en suite and feature a hairdryer. Wonderful views may be enjoyed out over the lush gardens, golf course, tennis courts or pool from the rooms.
Sports and entertainment
There are 2 large swimming pools with snack bars in the outdoor complex as well as a 54-hole golf course and 9 tennis courts (floodlighting available). It is possible to pay a visit to the health club that features steam baths, a Jacuzzi and a range of spa and health treatments.
