Location
This charming city hotel is situated right between the city centre and Schoenbrunn Palace. The hotel's immediate surroundings are home to bars and pubs, public transport links and shops. The centre of Vienna is just 2 km away, where guests will find the Stephansdom Cathedral and the Stadthalle, amongst other sights. Vienna International Airport is 25 km from the accommodation.
How to get there
From the A1: Follow the signs to the city centre. At Schoenbrunn Palace, turn left and then take the next right. Continue straight ahead (about 2 km) until reaching Westbahnhof train station. From there, turn right (onto the Mariahilfer Guertel). Follow the road for about 700 m and then a large sign for the hotel will come into view on the right-hand side. The next road is Herklotzgasse. From the A2, Prague and Budapest: Stay on the motorway until reaching signs to Altmannsdorf. Follow these signs until the end of the motorway and then follow the direction of city centre. Continue straight ahead (3 km). Guests will see Schoenbrunn Palace on the left-hand side. Continue straight ahead and, at the second traffic lights, turn right onto Mariahilferstrasse. Continue straight ahead (about 2 km) until reaching the Westbahnhof train station and then follow the directions given above for guests coming from the A1.
Room description
The en suite guest rooms (bathtub/shower, WC and hairdryer) are all equipped with an ISDN telephone, a PC connection for high-speed Internet access and satellite TV, so that they are up-to-date with the utmost convenience. Moreover, they offer a typical Old-Viennese style homely décor. The recent refurbishment has left rooms in their original size.
