The hotel is a period hotel built to the Dutch and Portuguese architectural principles of early 16th and 17th century. Designed and built in the style and principle of the early Dutch and Portuguese architecture of Fort Cochin, this hotel that resembles the old colonial buildings of Cochin, blends very well into the Cochin skyline.

Location
The hotel is situated at the historic site of a 19th century boat yard and has suites overlooking the harbour mouth. It is about 15 min by ferry across the backwaters, and 30 min from the Cochin airport.

Room description
The rooms are quite quaint and designed in keeping with the rest of the hotel. The eye catching antique \"Four Poster\" is the center of attraction in the rooms and suites. The spacious ensuite bathrooms are a luxury with a separate shower cubicle and enjoy a great view. Most rooms have a balcony. The corner suites are large with a separate sitting / dining and a private pantry for the butler and most rooms have a balcony.
