Renovated in the year 2001, this hotel is spread between a 4-storey main building and a newer 4-storey wing with altogether 36 double rooms. Located on a main road, the lobby area greets guests with 24-hour reception service, a seating area, a currency exchange counter, a lift and a café. Additionally, a cocktail bar, lounge area, a snack bar, a conservatory and those arriving by car may take advantage of the car parking and garage facilities.
Location
This small yet sophisticated hotel is located in the hotel area of Funchal, surrounded by tastefully designed gardens. The town centre offering a wide range of shopping and entertainment facilities can be reached within around 10 minutes on foot. Restaurants, bars and clubs are located just 200 m from the hotel and links to the public transport network can be found immediately outside. The beach is around 1 km away and. transfer time to Funchal airport is around 25 minutes.
How to get there
After leaving the airport carry on, on the highway to Funchal and take the fourth exit to the city with the indication \"Hospital\", on your left. Continue straight away, pass the big Hospital roundabout, taking the second left. At the end of the road, turn right on the traffic lights. After the bridge, take the first road on the right. On the top of the road, go around the roundabout and descend the same road. You will find the Quinta Perestrello at your right at around 70 meters . |
Room description
The comfortable rooms come with a en suite marble bathroom with shower, hairdryer, a direct dial telephone, satellite/ cable TV, parquet floors, a hire safe, air conditioning and a balcony (some with views over the garden). A cot is also available at no extra cost.
Sports and entertainment
There is a heated fresh water swimming pool in the 2,000 m² gardens as well as a sun terrace with sun loungers and parasols. In the complex opposite guests are able to play tennis for an added fee.
