This 459 room resort blends beautifully with the surrounding environment. It offers a lobby with 24-hour reception, currency exchange facility, lift access, a business centre, dining and conference facilities, a florist's and gift shop, 24-hour room service, complimentary parking facilities, baby-sitting /child care and a kids' club. Wireless Internet access is also available for a fee at the Silver Shell Cafe, the terrace, the lobby lounge and reception. Parking facilities, as well as room and laundry services are also available (all subject to fees). There is also a playground and kids' club, with the latter being subject to fees.
Location
Located on the western tip of Sentosa island, this resort hotel is Singapore's only beachfront hotel. Set on a stretch of white, sandy Siloso Beach, the resort is a 5-minute walk from attractions like the Underwater World, Fort Siloso and the Flying Trapeze. Guests can hop onto the island bus for a tour of the island, or try the Sentosa Express, the new light rail system that travels round the island and conveniently links Sentosa Island to the HarbourFront, VivoCity and St. James Powerhouse. The resort is a 10-minute drive from Keppel Train Station, and a 15 to 20-minute drive from Orchard Road, Chinatown and Changi International Airport.
Room description
Each of the guest rooms and suites is tastefully furnished in natural colours and materials, and feature a balcony that either overlooks the lush tropical gardens or offers a breathtaking view of the sea beyond. Amenities include en suite bathroom, broadband Internet access (at a fee), coffee/tea making facilities, an electronic safe, a full-size executive writing desk, cable/satellite TV with in-house movie channels, international direct dial telephone with voice mail and a minibar. The rooms have either one king-size bed or 2 single beds, as well as a sofa that can be converted into an extra bed if required (subject to a fee). Connecting rooms are also available on request.
Sports and entertainment
With the largest free-form swimming pool in Singapore, the pool area also has two outdoor Jacuzzis and waterslides for children, as well as being equipped with sun loungers and parasols. There is also a video games room and a playhouse for children (5 to 10 years old). The spa is fully equipped with a gym, steam room and treatment rooms (subject to fees). The Sea Sports Centre offers an extensive range of recreational like kayaking, pedal boats and team building activities. The resort also arranges activities like beach football, beach volley, morning stretch etc. for guests (some activities are subject to fees).
