Constructed in 1730, the hotel comprises a total of 25 rooms, of which one is a single and two are suites. Amongst the air-conditioned business hotel's facilities count a foyer with 24-hour reception, a bar, a café, restaurant, conference facilities, and a TV lounge. Further offerings include the public Internet connection, a W-LAN access point, and both room and laundry services. Bicycle hire is also available, and there is parking for those arriving by car. Location
This hotel is located in a spectacular setting, a unique place where comfort and quality are in harmony with the natural environment. The story of this convent begins in the 15th century, when a huge storm forced an Italian boat onto the shores of Sa Riera. Sailors who survived the incident celebrated their good fortune by founding a chapel near a medicinal spring in the nearby forest. It is a location rich in history, with tales of mysterious hermits, pirates and religious orders. The open sea and the Cala Sa Riera beach are both about 500 m from the hotel, guests will reach the nearest shops, links to the public transport network, and the centre of Begur with its restaurants, bars, and nightclubs in approximately 800 m. Further shopping venues can be found in Girona, about 50 kilometres away.

How to get there
Spain - Catalonia - Girona - Costa Brava - Baix Empordà - Begur. On reaching Begur, follow signs to Sa Riera beach. Once on the road to Sa Riera, guests will see a stop sign in the middle of a sharp right curve after about 100 metres. Take the road to the left (direction Playa del Racó and Pals) to find the convent on the right hand side after 500 m. By car: Motorway A7 Barcelona/France, exit 6 (Girona Nord), in the direction of Palamós/La Bisbal, exit 9 (Platja d'Aro/Lloret) in the direction of Platja d'Arao/Palafrugell. By plane: Aeropuerto del Prat - Barcelona (BCN) about 135 km away, Aeropuerto Girona Costa Brava around 45 km. By train: Estación (station) de Flaça some 35 km away. By bus: Bus company SARFA from Barcelona estación del nord (Arc de Triomf). From Girona: by bus transfer. By boat: Puerto/Port de Palamós Puerto/Port de l'Estartit.

Room description
The rooms are distributed across two storeys, and each has its own characteristic blend of quality materials and fine workmanship. The majority of rooms feature breathtaking views over the surrounding landscape.
