Housed in a building dating back to 1898 and renovated in 2007, this family-friendly country house hotel is an extensive establishment with leisure and event facilities. Location
This hotel is set in 6.5 hectares of woodland countryside and was originally part of the Ashton Court Estate. Guests will find plenty of attractions in the area including Bristol Zoo (a 10-minute drive), the SS Great Britain (10 minutes) or the city of Bath Spa (35 minutes). Although enjoying a rural setting, this country club hotel is conveniently located approximately 5 km from the M5, just some 6 km from Bristol city centre and around 11 km from Bristol International Airport.
How to get there
Those arriving by car should take Junction 19 off the M5 (Gordano Services), then take the A369 towards Bristol (Clifton) for approximately 5 km. Turn right at the traffic lights into Beggar Bush Lane (B3129) and the hotel can be found approximately 2 km further on, on the left.
Room description
The standard bedrooms are traditionally elegant and offer a classic feel. They come with a private bathroom with a shower/bathtub and a hairdryer.
