Location
The apartments are located in a stylish new development in the vibrant district of Leith. Edinburgh city centre is just 10-20 minutes away by bus or car, and guests may use the fast and reliable complimentary shuttle service to reach the city. Once a busy shipping port, Leith has undergone huge regeneration and redevelopment in recent years and is now home to the Scottish Parliament and attractions such as the Royal Yacht Britannia and the ocean terminal and is a starting point for ghost tours, historic tours and Highland tours. The Edinburgh Dungeons and the Scottish Whisky Experience are also located here, along with many other attractions. Guests will find this a cosmopolitan area offering a wide variety of restaurants, cafés and bars, with something to please every taste. Edinburgh Airport is 12 km from the residence.
How to get there
From Waverly Station bridge guests should cross diagonally right over Princess Street onto South St Andrews Street. Take a left onto St Andrews Square and then 1st right. Follow St Andrews Square down and take the 2nd right onto Queen Street. From Queen Street head along to York Place. At the traffic lights continue straight on until reaching the Picardy Place roundabout. Turn left (1st exit) at the roundabout and head down past the Edinburgh Playhouse (right hand) until reaching another roundabout. Go straight over the roundabout (1st exit) and follow Leith Walk until the road forks. At these traffic lights turn left onto Great Junction Street. Turn into Lindsay road and follow the road until reaching a roundabout, then take the 2nd exit. The reception is in Block C, in the final building. A complimentary shuttle bus departs from 6 Queen street or St Andrews Square to the apartments and guests are advised that the shuttle bus needs to be pre-booked.
Room description
All apartments have two comfortable bedrooms which can be arranged as twins or doubles on request and come with all linen and towels provided. The apartments offer two private bathrooms with power showers and a bathtub. The fully fitted kitchens include cooking utensils, a fridge, a toaster, an oven, a microwave, a washing machine and a dishwasher. A welcome pack is also provided on arrival, consisting of cereal, milk, tea and coffee for guests' first night/morning. The apartments also feature a comfortable lounge with dining area, a TV and a DVD player. Furthermore, a hairdryer, Internet access, an ironing set and central heating are provided in all accommodation as standard.
