Location
This hotel is opposite Murrayfield Stadium on Corstorphine Road, just over 1.5 km from Princes Street (the centre of Edinburgh) and close to Edinburgh Zoo. Edinburgh Airport is less than 8 km and main railway station less than 2 km.

How to get there
From the west, travel east along the M8. At M8 junction 1 keep in left lane signposted to city centre north. At Gyle roundabout take main road for city centre, continue along this road for 4 km, passing the zoo on the left hand side. The next landmark is Murrayfield Stadium on right hand side and the guest house is directly opposite 50 m past the Murrayfield Hotel on the left hand side. From the south, travel north on the A1. At Old Craighall Junction turn left, then at the roundabout take the first exit on to the City of Edinburgh bypass A720 (signposted Forth Road Bridge, Glasgow, Airport) continue to its end then at the Gyle Roundabout continue as if from the west.

Sports and entertainment
Edinburgh is renowned for its Festival Entertainment and Tattoo. Many pop concerts are staged at Murrayfield and Edinburgh Castle through-out the year. Murrayfield is the home of Scottish rugby and enjoys many international matches. There is a golf course 600 m from the guesthouse.
